 The
Auction Flex Integrated Web Service (IWS) is designed to make it
seamless and easy to exchange information with your website and
serves 3 primary functions:
- Upcoming Auctions with or without
internet bidding
- Past Auctions
- Email List Subscribe / Unsubscribe
These services are branded to your
website.

HOW DOES IT
WORK? |

We create a template from
your existing website and then provide you 3 separate links to
use on your website. One link will be for your upcoming
auctions, one link will be for your past auctions, and the last
link will be for your email list signup.
Now, when you upload an auction from the
Auction Flex auction management software (that runs on your
computers), the software sends your data and images to our
servers, which you have linked to from your website. The links
look exactly like the rest of your website and only show your
information, so a visitor to your website won't even realize
that our servers are providing the information on your auctions.

HOW MUCH DOES
IT COST? |

 The
service exists in two levels.You can upload catalogs, both
current and past, and use the email list subscribe page for
free. We only charge if you choose to add internet bidding to
your catalog(s).
Our internet bidding solution costs $.25
per unique bid with a maximum charge of $100 per auction plus
any credit card authentication registration fees (which is an
optional part of bidder registration).
Just to reiterate: The IWS service is
completely FREE to our customers. We only charge if you choose
to add internet bidding to a catalog.

TYPES OF
INTERNET BIDDING |

 We
offer two different types of internet bidding:
- Internet Absentee Bidding - used for
pre-bidding prior to a live auction
- Internet-Only Bidding - this type of
auction is conducted completely online
We do not offer live internet broadcasting
services.

INTERNET ABSENTEE BIDDING |

Internet Absentee bidding
allows you to take bids up to the time that your live auction
starts. Most customers will close internet absentee bidding a
few hours before their live auction begins. Then, with a single
click of the download button, all your bidder information and
bid amounts are pulled into your local Auction Flex management
software for use during the auction. |

INTERNET ONLY BIDDING |

In an Internet-Only Auction
you never actually conduct a live auction. These types of
auctions are getting more popular. The advantage of an online-only auction is that the overhead of auction day is avoided, yet
we can still bring certain "live auction" elements to the online
bidding.
Internet-Only bidding options include:
- Stagger Close - each lot can be set
to close any number of seconds after the previous lot. You
can also set the stagger to be variable so that there is
more time between the bigger money lots, and less time
between the lower value lots.
- Soft Close - if there is a bid in the
last 3 minutes the bidding on that lot can be extended by
another 3 minutes. You control this setting so you could
make it anywhere from 1 minute to 999 minutes.
- Soft Close Grouping - You can group
together lots so that if any lot of the group has its
bidding extended by a soft close, all the other lots in that
group will have their bidding extended too.
