Return Inventory to Customer

Auction Flex allows the user to track what inventory you have sold, the inventory you have left over, and the inventory you have returned to your Consignor ('Customer' in v.6).  You will only use this tool if you track you inventory outside of your auctions, or if you want record that you returned your consignor's leftover items to them after an auction.

 

You will first need to click on the 'Other' drop-down menu from the top menu-bar.  Select the 'Return Inventory to Customer'.  This will bring up an empty invoice which we will need to complete to finalize the returning of goods to your consignor.

The main function buttons can be found on the left-hand side of this form.  To add items to this form, you will need to select the 'Add One' or 'Add List' button from the left.  'Add One' will allow you to search through your inventory database for the item you wish to add to this form.  The 'Add List' button will bring up the next form when wanting to add multiple items at once.

You will see that you have the option to charge your consignor at this point is you have any fees or charges incurred for handling.  Once your Return Inventory to Customer form is complete, you can then take payment (if there were charges incurred), print off an invoice receipt, and then close the form.  Now that inventory will no longer be in your system, except as a record showing you returned it to your consignor.
