Welcome to the Auction Flex Multi-Parcel tutorial. Auction Flex provides the easiest to use and most powerful solution for your multi-parceling needs. Multi-Parcel auctions allow you to sell items in any combination over multiple rounds to achieve the highest total dollar amount for your auctions.
Follow the steps below and let Auction Flex open up new opportunities for you and your company.
1. Create a new auction record by clicking on the Auction Maintenance button
2. In Auction Maintenance click on the New
3. We need to now add our parcels as lots into the new auction by clicking on the Auction Lots button Enter your lots, selecting a consignor and using the quantity field for acres, if needed. Hit the Save and New button
4. Select the MP button
5. To set the Bid Increments for your auction, go to the bid increments tab These bid increments will be used to determine the raise on each level of bidding affecting the total dollar amount. If you need a single flat rate raise on each bid, check the option to use Force Flat Rate and enter your increment amount.
6. Take look at the Settings tabs. The options on these screens allow you to set the printer behaviors for your multi-parcel auction, as well as the Grid Presenter or Map Presenter screens. We have built into the system a Map Presenter which allows you to project a map of your land and a leader board onto a screen. This dynamically changes as the auction and bidding advances. We also have a standard grid presenter that will project your standard leader board and a Back In column.
7. To conduct your auction, click on the Leader Board
8. You can enter combination bids with a few simple keystrokes into the Lots field. The comma ( , ) and dash ( - ) allow you to place bids in any combination and can be used with one another to sell a sequence of parcels or non-adjacent parcels in one bid. To create combinations of parcels use the - (1-5 = one through five) and , (1,5 = one And five) buttons. For a What If bid query, hit the
To delete a bid improperly placed or retracted, simply right click on the bid in question and delete.
As you enter and save your bids, you will see your total dollar amount move up according to the bid increments you have selected. The total dollar amount will show both a Total and a Per. This can also be displayed on our presenter screens for your buyers, enabling them to see how much they are spending per acre.
Auction Flex makes viewing your high combos, bid history, and backup position boards easy. Just click on the desired tab at the top of the Multi-Parcel Bid Maintenance screen for the desired information.
