Fast Lot Entry

1. Click on the Auction Lots button 610_cmd_AuctionLots from the Navigator or the Navigator Toolbar.

 

2. If you have previously entered the desired auction, use the navigation buttons 610_cnt_StandardControls

 

to find the auction.

 

3. Click on the Fast Entry button 4_cmd_FastEntry.

 

4. Field explanations follow:

Lot # - the lot # is a unique number assigned to each item that will be sold at this auction.
Consignor Code - the consignor that this inventory belongs to. If you have previously entered the consignor, you can choose them from the drop-down box. If you need to enter a new consignor, click on the lookup button 4_cmd_Lookup and then from the Consignor Maintenance form, click on the New button 610_cmd_New.
Auction Quantity - the quantity of the item to be sold at auction under this lot #.
Inventory Type - if you have enabled Inventory Types from Option Maintenance, this drop-down box will have a list of inventory types that you have created.
Lead - the first 50 characters of your lot's description.
Description - the rest of the lot's description.
Est. Min (Each) - this is the minimum pre-sale estimate per each quantity for this lot.
Est. Max (Each) - this is the maximum pre-sale estimate per each quantity for this lot.
Total Reserve - this is the total reserve for the entire Auction Quantity entered.
Tax Status - determines the tax status of this item.
A number of these fields can be disabled by going to Miscellaneous->Maintain Settings & Options->INVENTORY tab.

 

7. When you are done entering the lot and you want to enter a new lot, click or <Enter> on the Save & New button. When you are completely finished, click on the Exit button 610_cmd_Exit.
