Auction Presenter

Top  Previous  Next

The Auction Flex Auction Presenter allows you to display your items as they are being sold on a projector or large screen T.V.s. You can also use the presenter prior to the auction in preview mode, scrolling through your items with the Lead and Lot number noted on each.  This screen can be controlled by the Auctioneers Screen or synchronized with a Clerk. The Auctioneers Screen is the most seamless control. The auctioneer hits the space bar, advancing the Auctioneers Screen, and the presenter will move accordingly, under the control of the auctioneer. If you synchronize the Auction Presenter with a Clerking screen, you will see a bit of a delay as the clerk enters the buyer number and sale price.

The Auction Presenter runs as a separate screen in Auction Flex. This allows you to drag the screen out onto your projector or large screen monitor, while still working in Auction Flex. To run the Auction Presenter while using a computer for another function (Clerking or Auctioneers Screen), you will need the following:

Computer loaded with Auction Flex on your computer network.
If running a Desktop PC, you will need either a second video card, or a video card that can handle dual monitors
If running a laptop, ensure that the laptop can run dual monitors in Extended Desktop Mode. You can check for this feature by right-clicking on your desktop, selecting properties, and hitting the Display tab. You should see an option to Extend my Windows desktop to this monitor after plugging in your projector.
