AFlex Groups and Categories allow potential online bidders to search all uploaded lots based on specific filters. In the example below, the item is located in the group "Antiques & Collectibles," in the subcategory of "ancient artifacts."
To take advantage of this feature:
| • | Go to the Inventory drop-down menu and choose Maintain Inventory; |
| • | Navigate to the inventory item you wish to change using the Inventory Controls at the bottom of the screen; |
| • | Locate the AFlex Group field in the bottom left corner of the screen and set the group. Set the category in the next field to the right. |
| • | Close the inventory item to save your changes. |
To set your own categories, go to Miscellaneous, then Maintain Settings & Options. Locate the Group+Cat tab. From here, you can add one category, add a list of categories, disable/enable categories, or delete them altogether. Groups cannot be edited, added, or deleted.
