Another Explanation on Commission & Buyback

Auction Flex is very Flexible when it comes to calculating commission and buyback structures.

1. Calculate Commission or Buyback By:

•	Each - will calculate commission by each inventory item. For example: if you enter an inventory item with a qty of 10, each item (qty of 1) will have its commission calculated individually regardless if they sell all at once or not.

•

Invoice Line Item - (not available for buybacks) will calculate commission by grouping inventory into invoice line items (an invoice line item is one line of an invoice). For example: if you enter an inventory item with a qty of 10 and all 10 sell at one time then the commission will be calculated using the total extended price of the sale.

•	Consignment Order - (not available for buybacks) will calculate commission by totaling the sale price of all inventory items in the consignment order.

2. Commission Structure Type:

•	Sliding Scale - commission is calculated by using the commission rate/amount that the Calculate Commission By amount falls into.

•	Incremental - commission is calculated by accumulating the commission rate/amount that the Calculate Commission By amount falls within.

•	Fixed - commission is calculated with a fixed rate/amount.
