Resetting Consignor Codes

Top  Previous  Next

Auction Flex gives you the option to reset your consignor codes back to the default code originally assigned by the software (C1002, C1003, etc...).  This is useful if you have consignors that you no longer need to access, or if you clerk-on-the-fly and utilize simple consignor codes for your clerk (i.e. 1-10).  Any consignor codes that you do not want to reset, you must check the 'Lock Consignor Code' box under Consignor Maintenance (see Creating a Consignor).  This will ensure that that specific consignor's Consignor Code will remain unchanged.

Choose Maintain Settings and Options from the Miscellaneous drop-down menu at the top of the Auction Flex window. Misceleneous

Under your Settings and Options Maintanance window, click on your Consignor Tab:

Settings&Options_Consignor

Click on the 'Reset Consignor/Vendor Codes' button at the bottom of this tab. Reset_CV_Codes

You will be prompted with the following warning: Reset_CV_Codes2 - click 'Yes'.

You will be prompted with another warning forcing you to type 'Yes': Reset_CV_Codes3 - type 'Yes'

* Note: This is a safety feature built in to Auction Flex that will prevent anyone from 'accidentally' resetting your consignor codes.
