Importing Inventory (Old Import form)

Auction Flex allows you to import inventory from Excel spreadsheets.

 

Create a Starter Worksheet

1.  Click the Consignor Order Maintenance button 4_cmd_COMaintenance from the Navigator or the Navigator Toolbar.

2.  Click the Import button5_cmd_Import from the Inventory Controls section.

3.  Click the Create Starter Worksheet button 5_cmd_CreateStarterWs.

4.  Once Auction Flex creates the starter worksheet enter your inventory and save the worksheet.  5_InventoryWS

 

 

Import inventory into Auction Flex

 

1.  Click the Consignor Order Maintenance button 4_cmd_COMaintenance from the Navigator or the Navigator Toolbar.

2. If you have previously entered the CO use the navigation buttons 4_cnt_Navigation to locate it otherwise click the new button 4_Cmd_New to create a new CO.

3.  Click the import button 5_cmd_Import from the Inventory Controls section.

4.  Assuming you have already created your excel spreadsheet with your inventory, click the ellipses button 5_cmd_PathButton to locate your file. (note:  If your inventory is not on the first worksheet, type in the name of the worksheet in sheet name.)5_txb_Worksheet

5.  Once you have located your file click "Header row" radio button, and the "Remove rows prior to header row" check box.

6.  Click the View Selected File button 5_cmd_ViewSelectedFile.

7.  If you used lot numbers on your spreadsheet, use the drop down box to select the Auction, you want to allocate the inventory to.

8.  Use the field labels drop down boxes to match your worksheet header rows.

9.  Click the Import Data button 5_cmd_ImportData.
