The Auction Flex
universal clerking cart is light, adjustable, and ergonomic. By using
a foldable golf bag cart as a base (2-year manufacturer's
warranty), we are able to take advantage of a low-cost
solution with full manufacturer support. The cart has soft
balloon tires, high ground clearance, and a folded height of
just 18 inches.
Laser cut, brushed aluminum plates complete the conversion
from golf cart to auction cart. The bottom battery plate
includes slots for a battery box and strap and is reinforced
with a 90-degree back stop. The spacious desktop plate
allows the use of any laptop computer by way of
fully-adjustable rubber stoppers and includes mounting holes
for an RF modem. We also include a laptop sunshade with the
setup. As you can see in the picture, the clerking cart is
truly a mini-desktop on wheels with enough space for a
laptop computer, clipboard, and other auction day
essentials.
With a full-size deep cycle marine battery
and a small inverter we clerked 19.5
hours straight. No pauses, no breaks, just bid after bid for
22,733 lots. That comes out to 19.4 lots clerked per minute.
This occurred in a testing environment with the computer set
to max power, the modem plugged in and the enter key
depressed. In short, you can clerk all day, in the direct sun
on a computer with a full keyboard using our standard
clerking screen.
What is included with the Universal

You will need to provide your own battery box,
full-size deep cycle
battery, and battery charger.
Some basic assembly will be required.
This kit does not include RF modems. If you do not already
own a set of RF modems, you will need to purchase those
separately.
